We’re also pleased to provide the latest news and information regarding the medical marijuana industry. Today we’re looking at vaporizer pens.

Why Use Vape Pens for Medical Marijuana?

Vaping is an effective method of delivering medical marijuana for instantaneous relief from painful ailments due to its quick absorption through the lungs and into the bloodstream. Vaping is an effective way to provide portable relief from the pain, insomnia, headaches, and tremors associated with some conditions. During the vaping process, marijuana enters the lungs and goes directly into the bloodstream instead of entering the stomach and liver, as when ingested. This allows almost four times as much marijuana to enter the body compared to other some other alternatives. Therefore, one can achieve the same benefits with a smaller amount of medical marijuana.

Different Ways to Vape

Not all vaping methods are the same; there is a range of ways that patients can vape; each one impacting the medicinal experience of smoking medical marijuana. People can choose whether to vape cannabis flower, or cannabis concentrates. Some models of vaporizer all patients to vape these interchangeable, while others are designed for either one type of cannabis or the other. Patients are urged to do independent research into which methods they prefer before purchasing their vaporizer.

Vaporizers designed for the flower are usually portable handheld devices, which come equipped with a slot to put your flower in, or large table-top vapes, which often involve a base that heats the flower and a bag that fills with vapor. Once filled with vapor, the bags are then taken off the base, and patients inhale the contents.

How Do You Vape Cannabis?

This is a straightforward process. Patients put the flower into the vaporizer device, heat the device to the correct temperature, and inhale the vapor. The dosage and potency will depend on the vaporizer and medical marijuana that you use. Make sure you start slow and gently until you find the mix that treats your symptoms correctly.
